This game looks promising. The game with real tactical movement and good shooting experience.

It Does looks Rather Good. But I Don't Like How The Cops Have The Hostage As A Shield When Escorting Them Out lol. And What Xavo Said ... The Team Leader ... Why Couldn't The Hostage Takers Kill Him First. Will Keep An Eye On This =P

The way the cop is holding the hostage is actually legit. He is not using her as a shield as such, it's just the way the military are trained to deal with civilian VIPs in combat. Pretty much you grab them by the collar keep them in front of you and use that grip to push/pull/drag them where ever you need them to go. Often civilians in a firefight can not be counted on to think/move for themselves so this method is used, it can be pretty rough but it works.

This looks pretty damn awesome, it seems fairly reminiscent of Swat 4 and the earlier Rainbow 6 games. (Here's hoping for some Pepper-ball action!)

Will be interesting to see how gameplay changes when theres Player Opfor. Might only work cos theyre AI.

I know the damage is a large part of the game but hopefully it wont be the main selling point.

Been playing the beta. Is awesome when it works. The only bad things are stupid match making system and no dedicated servers, it's $60usd for multiplayer only and you need uplay.

 

Anyway, hree are 4 beta keys if anyone wants to try until 4 October.

I'd been kept an eye on this game for few months, initially I thought it would be amazing and willing to try it asap. But after the long time awaiting plus large negative feedbacks and reviews from players, from what I see, it was not the game that I want to play anymore. I might be wrong hopefully, so will wait and see the truth until the full release.

I like the game but the main let down for me is the match making system. It likes to give me games that are A most of the time 300+ ping and B put me in games that as almost finished but I can't really complain about it too much it is in Beta.

Asking around, maybe you could persuade admin to add a dedicated server for aussie rainbow sixers after optimsing the random match join-in mechanism.

I found some aspects of "hunt" mode fun, except I could only get a game in normal mode, which essentially is "see who can race in and kill the most of the 20 terrorists in the 1 minute the match lasts before you spend 5 minutes connecting to a new match." 'hard' and 'realistic' modes didn't seem to have many people playing them. Neither did PVP multiplayer.
