June 5, 201410 yr Nvidia. any that are in your price range, just make sure its Nvidia. 700 series is pretty rad at the moment http://i.imgur.com/Oj3agig.jpg
June 5, 201410 yr wats your budget madhouse? Asset Whoring Since Version 0.85 http://img40.imageshack.us/img40/431/notoassest.png
June 6, 201410 yr urghhh nvida sucks imo, i bought a GTX 670 OC 2gb, i've had a 485M too, endless trouble. ATI is where it's at. The new 200 series cards are great and cheaper. But i would take everyone heres advice with a grain of salt, bias opinions! Check out toms hardware or something similar EDIT: as far as value goes, can't go past a R9 270X, if you're within the 200-250 market, would be silly to get anything else, unless you find some super sweet sale
June 6, 201410 yr Author My price range is 200-300. I have always had Ati but that doesn't mean I wouldn't go for nvidia either.
June 6, 201410 yr stats yak, ati was always my fav but nvid just has the edge on them all the time http://i.imgur.com/Oj3agig.jpg
June 6, 201410 yr I'm running an ATI R9 270X Dual on a system similar to yours Madhouse. Runs all my games on Ultra(Arma 3, Watchdogs and BF4). http://i.imgur.com/2tC0TX4.png
June 6, 201410 yr Ive had ATI 5870 and now a nvidia 770 4gb and they've both been great. 770 is great. Depends on how much your willing to fork out. Where to mate' It's been a while...
June 6, 201410 yr Sort of approaching this from the medium range gamer. I use a GTX560TI great card and affordable, runs most modern things at high / ultra. Back in the day I scooped it up for $250, I would recommend the newer GTX660TI, it should be in a similar price bracket. Or if you want you can venture into the 700's Let's go, let's go overground Take your head out of the mud baby
June 6, 201410 yr Im using MSI 7950 TF 3GD5/OC since early 2013, run almost every games in Ultra and some in High. R9 270X would be a great choice, cuz it performs similarly to 7950, maybe slight better?
June 7, 201410 yr yeah ive got the r9 270x and it ultras every game i have......I have a lot of games. i was sitting in a shopping mall up-stairs eating area by myself crying while trying to eat this ****, people were looking...it was embarrasing Moonbuggy relives the horror of eating Bulgarian KFC
June 14, 201410 yr Author So... The inital problem was infact not my GPU but the MoBo has now died... So much win... So I need a new mobo to fit in with the current system. Suggestions?
