Saw the standalone has released on steam. I remember stories of it being quite good back when it was a mod.

 

It is any good? Worth getting? Has anyone got it/is anyone playing it?

Ive been playing it, fantastic game, always lots of people on,

 

its $13, thats less than a six pack, its a great game at a great price

Its great! I've been playing it alot and its quite intense. Its a good multiplayer tactical shooter, a genre which hasn't had much going for it recently.

Its fantastic when you get guys using teamwork and suppressing targets. Reminds me a bit of the old rainbow six games.

Yea I Quiet Enjoy It, Had A Fair Few Rounds With Adomonkey (=p Not That He Realises This).

Oh wow. I used to play that game(mod) fanatically, totally forgot all about it.

Is it as good as the original? I remember having some awesome battles on that game, one shot kills from 200 metres away with the SLR, mowing down rows of inf with the SAW. Hells yeah.

A few Aux.| players now have the game.. if a comp ever gets off the ground hit us up and we'll look at running in scrims

This games really fun and cheap for only $15 on steam, I recommend it to anyone looking for a tactical first person shooter.

Installing....

hmmmm all installed etc, but when I click on the game the little circle loading thing comes up then NOTHING, same for Arma 3 (which was working..).

Other steam games ie Rising Storm/No more room in hell etc all still work.

Have tried deleting the App cache, made sure its not a firewall issue but still Nada .

any ideas ?...

Game and support forums have nothing that helps... .

Done a verify? seems like its trying to re-install, may be due to an update or beta options?

Yeah, verified the files for both Ins and Arma 3.. no change., there was an update/hotfix yesterday for Ins but I only installed it today..
