hey guys, well ive been having a bit of a problem

ok, so i have a new gpu i want to install, and following these instructions before turning off the computer i attempted to uninstall the amd catalyst drivers , now when it attempted to restart, windows fails to start up and the auto startup repair couldnt fix the problem

now it will start up in safe mode, so im going to start in safe mode with networking and hopefully download the catalyst drivers again and install.

hopefully this will fix my problem :/

downloading the drivers now.

edit: trying to install in safe mode doesnt want to work, says "failed to load detection driver"

ok, now a hardware question my old gpu ran 2 6 pin pci 's for exta power my new one runs 2 8 pin ports, the card came with double molex to 8pin converters but some say that that is not a good idea should i get a double 6pin to single 8 pin and use that instead or go for the double molex?
