how many people that played Project Reality Joined the Australian Defense force?

 

I am just trying to get some numbers, I know Chrisso06 did, there must be others, so if you did or know others that did would love to know who they were so I can get some numbers. thanks I advance :hi:

Captain Wolf and Sgt Trip did.

There are quite a few EX ADF people floating about though.

I think people join the ADF because they like military stuff and also happen to like PR. I reckon PR is a pretty darn good simulation, in terms of strategy and the need to coordinate firepower and capability.

 

I think what antiwarhell is getting at, does PR fuel a desire to do similar activities in real life. Possibly it could spark an interest! I know after watching a war movie or talking with my mates about the military, I have to get a fix and these days its by playing PR!!

I was apart of the AAFC (which now is part of the ADF) another cadet got me hooked on the game and I like the teamwork (hence why some of you see my other profile SGM A.Cripple [3|AIU]) I'm a realism nut.

I was in the Airforce Cadets for a couple of years, does that count?

 

At one point I was seriously considering applying for the RAAF and now I'm thinking of trying for the Reserves or Rural Firefighting Service.

I know groups that have tried this in the past and have been unsuccessful. You would have to be getting a fair amount of top quality candidates.

I used to serve with 25/49 Battalion. That was before i started playing PR tho. Got out mid 2009.

Chocco Rifleman for the past few years. Wasn't because of PR though, only was into mil games because I wanted to do it in some capacity from a young age.

 

Not sure if your only talking full time or even what this is about? :laugh:
