BigD is now organizing Game Nights for games the community would like to play together as a team or just to play with friends, so please post up what games you would like to play with your fellow BigDers.

 

It does not matter if we have a server for the game or not, this is just a way to get BigDers in the same place at the same time and all having fun

Sounds good, I'm keen for a bit of PR tonight! I've been getting kicked off servers on my new rig recently, and have a weird sound issue causing sounds to have little cut outs etc.. Not sure if it's linked.

"realtek sound drive" could be the issues, Try to end the process in the task manager. and use some software to disable it when u start the system. In my experience, it crash me several times for BF3 and ARMA3. Hope this will help!

It's actually a problem with my soundcard.. Xonar DG. I have to use realtek, cos my soundcard doesn't like PR. But for some reason it loves it on my other rig. I dunno.

 

PR is a complicated beast. I've also fixed my crashing issue. I get connection troubles when i have 2 PC's connected to the same PR game. As in if i have a buddy over to play some PR, it kicks me every 5-10 with no other message than, error connecting to server.

 

To keep this ontopic, i suggest a bit of warthunder action

My biggest gripe over the last year+ has been the fragmentation and dissipation of the community into the far reaches of the interwebs. I yearn for the BigD camaraderie of days long past.

About the Open BETA Release

During the next week, from*June 29, 2013*to*July 7, 2013, the*PR:BF2*v1.0 Open BETA will be running and open for everyone to play. The Project Reality Team is providing two 100 player game servers for the duration, one for US based players and one for EU based players. We will not be hosting any additional servers unless absolutely required and you will not be able to create your own servers or play against AI.

 

 

I think the beta is only open until 7th July? But things change, there are 5 servers now due to overwhelming demand

 

Can't wait until first bigd night on full release

I'd like to see a PR night after the beta is finished, thinking an infantry night?

 

Start with kokan then qwai skirmish then move on to fools road and asad infantry layers?

I am really trying to avoid the appearance of criticizing, so let me try and provide some feedback as emotionally neutral as I can.

Would be good to do another NS2 session at some point when TPG isn't dropping half of my packets.. Had fun on that last little impromptu get together, atleast what I could play.
