Since Joe is still picking the lead out of him after the last round, I'll take up the banner and get things set for round 3 of the now notorious grudge match between AUX and the BigD All-stars!

WHO ARE WE AND WHAT DO WE WANT?

 

Born from an old grudge, the All-stars are a rag tag bunch of skilled/mad/enthusiastic PR players from clans and pubs alike, coming together every so often to challenge the thoughest clans in the Australian scene. The only bar for entry is your determination and willingness to learn, because the odds are never really in our favour, and you'll nead your wits about you to make it through. But don't let that intimidate you, we still have a good week or two to get organised! :sweat:

 

WHEN'S THE PARTY AND HOW DO I SIGN UP?

 

POSTPONED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE

 

Due to the planned 10v10 nature of the competition players will be selected on a FIRST IN FIRST SERVED basis, even if you played in the last round (fair's fair). THERE WILL BE A RESERVE list to fill in for those who do not turn up on the night or want to swap out after one round. Chances are you'll likely get in on the game one way or another.

WHAT'S THE PLAN THIS TIME?

 

On the night we'll probably organise the team similar to the last match, running two squads of 5 on the night. Seasoned veterans are encouraged to volunteer for the positions of SL and 2nd SL, though the final selection will be up to my discretion.

This is highly dependant on numbers though, so if we beat 10 convincingly, then perhaps we'll organise for 12v12, 13v13 with AUX.

 

Just to clarify, this thread is just for gauging numbers and doing some simple organising. I know there were a few people keen to join in the last round but missed out, and others that couldn't make it, so here's your chance to have another go. Once we're filled out we'll move this over to the Blufor forum subsection for planning and such.

 

So step on up and volunteer fellas, it's a great experience of high end PR that's hard to beat on a regular pub night.

I'll go reserves seeing as I can't really commit to anything anymore

Depends on whether it ends up on the weekend or not. I will squad lead again, if it ends up on either Sat or Sun.

Seeing that it is back during school time and I'm out during the term I'll try and make practice

Even if I don't show I'll know that we made effort to destroy our rivals

Alright ladies, I'm going out on a whim and saying Sunday 5th is the date to be.

 

So if you've been pining for a good game of PR but hate the low numbers or poor skill you might find on a pub night, join on up and get in on some competitive skirmish on a good old Sunday night!

Good to see dogface and poosloth in as well, which get's us almost to the minimum. Might get around to preparing all the pre-match material now...

Thanks Ruke, but we'll still have to change things up anyhow.

 

Bad news is that after talking with Buzz, it seems that AUX won't have the numbers, so the match will have to be postponed until further notice.

The rather sudden announcement of a community night at the same time doesn't make me feel any better about it. But we can use it to actually team up and practise, and that's what I'm hoping to do.

 

Gotta take it as it comes I guess.

I seem to recall Wednesday nights being the go to night for the last 10v10 comp.
