PR + Mumble + . . . . Windows 8 - Anyone??

I am having a world of problems getting this happening.

100% of the time if i have the overlay enabled i cannot see the overlay in game and i also cannot see the game menus, the initial server browser parts work fine, but the in game squad/spawn etc menus do not show and i am unable to play

Most of the time (but not always) if i disable the overlay i get to play the first game ok, sometimes a couple, then i have some of the same problems or a weird mouse glitch were i cannot turn or use keys other than the wasd ones. weird right?

if i do not load mumble it basically works ok, but on some maps i am getting a strange kind of lag/pause every 3-4 seconds, then it disappears for other maps

I really enjoyed mumble but at the same time i would rather not have to roll back to windows 7 as everything else is working fine.

anyone running win8 and having the same issues or have any ideas?

mumble and battlefield 2 where not designed for windows 8, so of course problems will happen, i suggest you disable the overlay, and head over to the pr fourms to see if someone else has this problem or fixed it.

Yeah - i figured since they both worked fine in windows 7 i would be safe.

Foolish fool.

Had a read of the PR forums, didn't find any answers really, or none that worked.

oh well - i can live without mumble for a minute and maybe i will install a win7 partition for games only
