I too got kicked.. However i was on for ages before that.

 

Great night, had a good time. It's much more fun playing with the aus/nz community than international/american guys. I tried encouraging the guys to leave the CIA server to hop on BigD without pissing off the CIA admins, seemed to work well. Thanks for jumping over..

 

Most fun i've had in Pr in a long time. G_G!

 

I found out that i'm horrible with the american hat kit.. I just can't seem to work out the HUD when zoomed in.. o.o

 

EDIT: That round on mutrah city was pretty amazing from the US perspective.

 

We won the skirmish round with only 1 death on the entire teams scoreboard It did however cause a few people to leave :/ we weren't spawn camping or anything dishonourable, just playing really well as a team!

 

 

Some notes i had from German perspective on operation overlord..

 

It's impossible to take fox attacking the beach front of "fox", or maybe even "easy" The cliffs are impossible to climb.. The only way a frontal attack would work would be with support of an area attack (Something the US never used)

 

Destroying the cannons - I saw someone use the HAT kit to do this, i thought that was really smart and something that could work really well. You can also clear those pesky deployed autorifles out of the bunkers.

 

Using the HAT kit to destroy fobs - often getting to the fobs as the US is extremely hard, if they know you're attacking. The ground is relatively flat and can spot fobs from pretty far away, the trick is landing the HAT shot..

 

The MG3 can shoot through certain bunkers, i'm not sure if this is a bug or not... but we discovered it by mistake today, maybe the US equivalent can too?

 

Attacking as a group, as in the entire team together, not just one squad - You can organise this easier by marking something on the mark - IE marking a TANK on the map somewhere on the water, where everyone can group up before motoring to their deaths.

 

 

These are just some thoughts i've scribbled down

yeah had a blast until the people got kicked and the server died. was some awesome firefights in the hedgerows

What maps would ppl like to see in the vote for next weekend?

Maybe some ins, or maybe the updated pavlovsk bay.

 

I'd like laskhar or maybe even the polarising korengal valley!

Have we done the Goose Green yet? If not we can have some pew pews

Overlord was great, good times with Madhouse's artillery coming in overhead.

Wasn't just MH, Iirc you dropped a round DIRECTLY ON ..one of our squads .

 

THAT was an awesome shot, perhaps a bit low though ...

How was the turnout?

 

we had a good start on muttrah skirmish but YAK's team destroyed MEC and half their team left..but once we got on to overlord we ended up with between 35-40 eventually
