TBH I'm pretty disappointed with the way the new system is performing, I mean come on, i5, 8GB RAM & GTX680 2GBOC....and PR is pretty crap.

 

So laggy on BigD server, terrible on CIA. Can't even play on bigD...so sh&&$%$T.

 

Pings normal/standard. Even when I use the same video settings as I have done- mixture of low and medium. Very laggy.

 

It's like the computer is doing something else, eg- running a scan or major process- which of course it is not. No anti virus program on here and nothing running.

 

--> I am thinking Pr is trying to run off the Motherboard graphics unit....see spec snap shot below.

 

 

 

How do I turn that **** off, so the GTX 680 is only used....Any other suggestions?

 

--> Could sound which is on "hardware" and high be affecting it?

 

---> In regards to resolution, it runs a little better on lowest screen resolutions compared to the native resolution of 1920X1080.

have you installed the software for the graphics card n checked the website for updates, or your mobo site for graphic card updates?

umm my soundcard fizzled so went back to onboard what is it called Realtech? audio for pr using this works ok for me

your mobo site should have the most recent audio driver

do you need to install router software, i guess you have if youve got connection, maybe there is an update.

just guessing man, not much of a tech head myself

Have you tried turning it off and then on again?

Before I read this I was about to ask if the actual card is engaged and running, Because my room mate had the same issue and was running on the onboard chip.

 

So yeah you were running on the on board chip so that's more then likely why you were getting horrible input latency and what not.

Well I know this sounds obvious, but did you install the Graphics Card drivers? Or like said above, download it from the website?

If your computer keeps giving you trouble it might be terminal. Scams and spams could possibly have infected the mainframe and you may have to amputate just below the central serial hub.

I want an admin to close this topic ASAP. I've had enough and it is getting to me personally.

Everyone who is high and mighty on their high horse, saying I'm a cheat both directly and indirectly, have a sniff of the fresh air and get over it. This is life and the soon you realize that life is a bitch and unfair, the sooner you will realize, you NEED an advantage. Whether it be money matters, reducing your tax bill, getting a job when there are 30 applicants or chasing women (in fact it could not be truer for this). You don't do illegal things, like tax evasion, or lying or murder- but you do things that will help your cause. NOTHING in life is not clearly marked right and wrong.

 

I don't use the cross hairs to be able to not scope- I still have to scope to target. I use it so when I throw grenades primarily, I don't nade myself. I use it for some 50 cal that don't allow scoping. I use it because I'm half blind in my right eye from a sporting accident and have no depth perception. I use it because I NEED an advantage.

 

Yes I agree that it is going against the intent of the developers removing the cross hairs, refer to above reasoning. By the way, you still don't see me getting the massive number of kills, in fact I'm an average player.

 

I do what I have to do to enjoy the game as much as possible and to get the most kills. And be honest with yourself, so do you. NO ONE enjoys getting ass wiped each and every time. Fact. Period.

 

I accept that what I've done is borderline and in many an opinion cheating. I acknowledge this. I ask you however, what have you done to increase your advantage in the game?? Get a better sound card? Get a better head set? A better graphics card? Even, increase the brightness of your screen on the more darker maps. What about, reduce video settings to a combination that allows quicker movement, scoping etc etc....It happens and I know for a fact some of the more well known and feared players (that is, high KDR's), change settings or use wide screen ratios to gain an advantage. I do not want to enter into a discussion about what is gaining an unfair advantage or not.

 

I apologize that it is not in the spirit of the game. I apologize that some find it unfair and cheating. I apologize for my own stupidity in taking a photo of the screen. But I stand firm and will not be deterred by the remarks going around both in game and on this forum- meet me face to face and you will realize I can give sh-t and I can take sh-t. And I am man enough to apologize and admit I've made a mistake. The cross hairs have been removed and will be left off.

 

So I ask you, are you doing something to gain an unfair advantage? Because I ask myself (and I review battle logs), how can some players consistently get heaps of kills in comparison to others. We all play the same engine physics and game play....These people aren't just tactical or strategic- admittedly being smarter helps. Some a skilled yes, but I wonder how some a so good all the time and on any map, given any situation (i.e. the team getting badly beaten). And remember, I will not be entering into a discussion or refute responses.

 

LASTLY AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, AUX DOES NOT ENDORSE MY BEHAVIOR WHATSOEVER. NO MEMBER SUGGESTED I DO WHAT I DID AND IN FACT, NODDY (AUX CAPTAIN) HAS EXPRESSED IT UTTER MOST DISGUST IN THIS MATTER. AUX PLAY FAIRLY AND AS A TEAM. IF THIS MEANS I HAVE TO LEAVE AUX, SO BE IT. I WILL STILL PLAY PR BECAUSE I THOROUGHLY ENJOY THE GAME- THE INTENSITY AND THE CHALLENGE.

Yes you screwed up with that pic showing the crosshair, and people took the piss out of you for it.

However unless the Donations to the running costs of the servers and the forums increase dramatically the Admins will not be able to ensure that others are not also doing the same, seriously.... as far as the "Book of Tricks" goes that one is on the front cover.
