Hey guys wondering if anyone wants to join up an BIGD outfit for the release of the game. there is a poll for the three factions which ever one has the most votes wins,also can i have plz have feedback as well because i need to take numbers and names so i can see who is planning on playing with the outfit

Anyone know if it is possible to be a member of multiple outfits at once?

 

Also, I suggest you wait until a week or two after launch and see what people want then. Most of the population has not had a chance to play the game yet. There is going to be a lot more interested players and they are going to have a lot better idea what team they like after a few weeks.

 

Just my 2 cents.

I've been thinking about this a little, as I've been invited to quite a few - i'm thinking I'll leave it till after release as you can only join one, while bigd might be a fine one, there's only a handful that play and you kinda need to be pretty organized to see decent action we might have 10 or so that play but generally you only see 5 or so on at a time.

 

so if i were you i'd reserve the outfit for later and see where it goes (i'm in one at the moment - but its just a few mates and it does stuff all)

yeah true spider, and wolf i think that would be a good idea i will do that then

we did have a reasonable game yesterday tho - i ended up running a platoon - even tho i didn't want to - all in all we did get into some pretty decent battles, i just don't know the maps enough to be a confident platoon leader.

I'm yet to play in anything organised. Is rather frustrating to say the least.

if n when it was set up, although a bigD outfit may start small, being that we are all such nice chaps, could recruit new players to the outfit, then corrupt them, turn them to the dark side n bingo new PR players.

maybe rather than one chief, have a round table of captains, so there is a better chance of cohesiveness n leadership more often.

good idea to get ausies om pr servers and a table of leaders i think would work because not everyone can be on every night

as long as these so called leaders do get power hungry or anything, it should be ok..

No leaders , too much fighting and power issues. If something comes up we should form in a group in TS of skype and talk about tactics and what not. value every-bodies input.

I imagine that those with more experience, strategic minds n leadership qualities will just naturally rise to the surface

(as much as i would like to play point in this regard it would lead to a conflict of interests as i like to dedicate a good portion of my gaming time to a little study on the effects of various liquids consumed and their effects on my pew pew capabilities)

but as you say all if we all get in ts and have a pow wow before we kit up things should work out fine.

 

Once the game is in full flight it could be cool to have a forum section dedicated to planetside, maybe topics like strategy, the kit trees that peeps are focusing on building, tips n tricks etc

Well I've got a 100slot teamspeak server dedicated to planetside 2 as of 3 days ago. Until I get my outfit off the ground you guys are welcome to use it, and bring anyone in your squads ingame into it as well. The voice quality ingame is still fairly lacklustre I've found.

 

Gurujr was in there before, although he ran off without saying anything .
