Posted September 9, 201212 yr The Mrs has given me the green light to build a new PC. As the minions computer is close to 10 years old. I want to know, what you WA tech heads know about PLE Computers as I am not keen on spending $150.00 to ship the parts from the east coast. Or is there any other WA computer places to order parts from. Thanks ---- http://img67.imageshack.us/img67/4300/usarmyltgf2.gif http://bigdgaming.net/images/added/awards/OperationCrownRibbon.jpghttp://bigdgaming.net/images/added/awards/valorousunit.bmp
September 9, 201212 yr There are 2 WA MSY branches http://msy.com.au/Parts/PARTS.pdf Really good value for parts Always, looking for bacon.
September 9, 201212 yr $150? Jesus who are you sending stuff with? I get things sent interstate including and it never goes above $75 even for express. Hell the stuff I send for work is always larger then a PC case and weighs at least 10kgs. For an entire PC you should really only be looking at paying $50 inc insurance.
September 9, 201212 yr Yeah, shipped my whole bike from Nth Qld to Brisbane for $150 (which I still think is waay to expensive). That was door to door delivery as well. But I digress, this is a computer thread Have fun with your new build ! http://i.imgur.com/DtNdckc.png [WC]Xavo|xXx:

September 9, 201212 yr i havent tried PLC, a couple of friends get stuff through PC Case Gear fairly regularly n speak highly. I mostly get my stuff through Austin Computers cos they are local, helpful n the staff have been there for ages but thats prob not much help for delivery
September 9, 201212 yr PLE are good I can see the Wangara store from where I work so I go there for some things. And if its "in stock" on their website its at the store so you don't get pissed about . Haven't ordered from them online for obvious reasons. MSY are usually a bit cheaper as they are bigger which adds up if you are doing a full build but you get little to no appreciation of your business. http://i230.photobucket.com/albums/ee118/bahlye/bahlye007/mouse_zps73307fb2.gif
September 9, 201212 yr Would choose MSY over PLE anyday imo. Previous experience and of others I know, they seem to have a habit of employing people in IT who are of the 'BOFH' mindset. Prices are reasonable enough but the service isn't that flash. Out of the two MSY stores, Cannington is the one I'd go to. Mainly as it seems to be the 'quieter' of the two stores so you're not waiting as much. There comes a time in every musician's life when they must decide what instrument they should master. Few. If any are ever worthy enough to master. The cowbell.
