Just wanted to run a little poll to see where the community is at the moment...

 

If your playing relates to more than one answer, pick the one that you prefer to play more. Example, if you play regularly on BigD and overseas servers, decide which rounds you enjoyed more and pick that option.

I play on CIA K&H, TG & BigD generally.

 

I steer away from Hardcore - had a few bad experiences there with their admins. Getting booted for making a Cobra squad first was the last straw.

 

I like how the yanks are generally open to ideas. Also server population in the states is always higher. TG being on the east coast of the states tends to bring in the odd european and brit which is interesting too. Also DB is the man.

Do you acctualy know that Hardcore isnt the only admins on the server other Clans from the USA admin the server aswell so dont be harsh on just them every time one of us get the kick 98% of the time it isnt even a Hardcore admin.

 

I just pop a quick email to the head honco and he tells them off for us gota learn to talk to em sameee anywho since i got the BLP server up I have been inbetween BigD/CIA/Hardcore and our's plus kids and work i get little gaming time now.

would of loved to have voted different but I do play on overseas more than BIGD

main reason being I lived in Canada and did alot of travel in the US so played alot over there... but back in NZ now and play on BIGD whenever there are ppl on.. keep up the goodwork

I play during the day on the american servers, and swap over to the Australian ones at night.

 

TG & CIA are my favorite american servers. CIA has compulsory mumble which is cool, and good variety in maps. TG tend to have more serious/better players which i like too.

 

The bad thing about the yank servers is the ping and their mentality. It's rare to have a squad defend, they always attack!

 

Hardcore seems to have a terrible community, and like 30% of the team not in a squad!

 

BigD has a great community of skilled players and good ping, but lacks the numbers and map variety in my opinion.

Ive only had time to play very few hours recently and i prefer to go to the usa servers (CIA and TG) to get a decent game.

 

I dont really care about the ping, it can be annoying, but you can adapt to it.

 

The gameplay generally overseas is much better than in oz, atm. So just being in a squad where people follow orders and stay together is much better if i have limited time to play.

 

And now with the use of the new mumble, squads are communicating between each other...its only the beginning but will get better and better.

 

I think mumble will help BigD build its numbers as the gameplay will improve 10 fold

Covered in schoolwork ATM, but also mainly because most public events are on Sunday nights, Fridays and Saturday nights are where its at for me

Either way, hardore server is rubbish. Cia is average, TG on a good day is pretty good. BigD on a good day is the best.

I don't play much anymore due to the low player count, the decrease of good players and the increase of spastics that ruin it.

You'll find that's pretty much the reason behind most of the regs' disappearance, that and RL.

hey fellas i dont play as much as id like, mostly play bigd its usually good gameplay medium to good no.s

i havnt been able to get the new mumble up yet, havnt tried to hard tho, will get onto it soon, am looking forward to exploring the new maps some more,

my involvment in bf3 clan, team league matches sucks a fair bit of time, it will wear off soon enough tho, see more of me then.

Always get a few games in on the weekend .....its relaxing .

My PR time is limited with RL and button pushing though :(lurk more than play generally )

and the increase of spastics that ruin it.

I honestly have been tied up playing BF3... I was however starting to play more co-op with the 39th guys & mainly on Veterans, this was because the numbers wernt there on BigD when I could play.

 

Another contributing factor in my case was my ISP connection through Adam WiMax, it was a shocker & prohibited me playing ANYTHING for some time... it has got better now (well mostly) but I (for now) am playing BF3, I just love the graphics...

 

I will try to get onto a round of PR soon, for old times sake....

I think this is relevant as a lot of the comments appear to be regarding the lack of numbers on the servers.

I play when I feel like it but I have been playing arma 2 + with Full Time Tafe I find to hard to find time to play. And I find by the time I get home from Tafe the servers are dead anyway so.

Been playing lots and lots of Arma 2 CO.
