I use to play PR last year, I come back to play and it seems nobody plays anymore? This really saddens me because PR is an amazing game and so was the community on the server.

welcome to BigD

Hi Penos

Thanks for signing up to the forums.

Unfortunately server numbers are down at the moment due to a number of factors (predominately the release of a number of games such as Skyrim, BF3, ARMA: PR). This is being experienced by most servers atm.

Holzy and Ford are trying to arrest this by creating forum members nights (at least) every second week which is a good way of reminding people that gaming in a teamwork orientated manner is what drew us together in the first place (rather than shiney new things). So keep an eye out for those.

It's just a matter of picking your night - and seeding the server. Some people won't join unless there is a certain number..... but once that magical number is met, then it tends to fill up to a reasonable number.

And also school, work so on.

The past few have been fun put your name down and I hope to see you in game.

If you jump on pr arma beta in the morning the numbers are around 70 to 80 from about 6 am till 1030 or 11, i know its early but worth it

Okay cool, I'll look out for those nights

Mainly just Fridays and Saturdays I've noticed.

Probably because most wouldn't have to wake up the next day! =D

just keep upto date with the forums and you can't miss it

yeah, most people don't play because of numbers, i think there would be at least 10 a night probably more that decide no because no body is on, if everyone who thought about it joined it would probably have decent numbers every night, problem with community nights is they are on weekend nights predominantly, which for me isn't gaming night

Yeah sorry I haven't been around guys! Really missing the pew pew ATM. But rest assured, when the holidays kick in count on me to be hitting the servers.

^^I blame him

Give it a go on a server with 2 people - the tension is very different, and before you know it, the numbers might rise to 8, which makes it a game.

Yeah thats about right. Just needs a few people to seed and then before you know it you have a game. The other night on Kokan was one of the best games of insurgency i've had in a long time and that was only 10 a side

At first I was wondering what relevance the video had to this thread, but then out of know were it hit me like a train (about 1.50 in)

Thank you for such an inspiring video Bundy

so true bundy... we just need to put into action the things we have learned from this thread

did well on the video bundy... tomorrow at work... im going to try something similar.. i wont be counting my followers but maybe how many extra duties or charges i get hahaah

Cheers for the game (and patience) tonight mate, just what I needed to get some PR basics back after quite a long break :gun:

Yes People Play More Pr!!!

Seeing a multiple of 12 in the server and thinking whats the point, just gonna end up sitting in a squad by yourself.

Yes, but when you join it encourages more people to join - so you won't be sitting in a squad by yourself for long!

Sadly this is a bloody negative way of looking at things. If you join then that is one more on the server.

That's the way I look at things anyway.

Power of positive thought - it gets stuff kicked off.

Staring at game monitor (which is often wrong anyway); does not.

it could also be 3 squads of 4,

or 6 squads of 2,

you never nerver know if you never never go

... just do it. More than once I've had a really tense 1:1 or 2:2/ 2:3 round. 13 players is heaps these days!

What's wrong with less than 10 people on the server? Why, back in my day we were ecstatic if we had more than 6 people playing Ejod!

I seed every day i'm not working at night! I don't mind sitting on a server by myself for 20 minutes. There's a few people that come join when there's only me, that matty guy usually comes join me, same with a few of the newer players who i don't think frequent this forum.

Once you hit about 5 a side, it becomes a game.
