Yep Clarke and Hussey, no doubt about em. Ponting looked almost promising in a couple of his strokes, but failed to get off again. I reckon he should call it in, even if he gets a high score or two - he's just too expensive. Although we need someone that can replace him, which in itself is no easy feat. So he might get another couple of seasons.

Yeah my bad hey. I mainly wanted him to call it in so he could leave on a positive note. Like if he stuck around for another couple of years, he might improve heaps and get back in form - or he could wan further and turn people against him.

 

I reckon he's made a good call, but even still a pretty valuable player that will be missed.

yea alot nicer for him to go out know on his own terms than his run of poor form carrying on and the selectors forcing him out.
