January 3, 201213 yr Sounds a lot like a phishing scam to me to try and get your details for the PSN... There comes a time in every musician's life when they must decide what instrument they should master. Few. If any are ever worthy enough to master. The cowbell.
January 3, 201213 yr Author Got yours today Yak? http://matt.itsthemadhouse.com/na/sigs/na-sig-gruanch5.png http://bigdgaming.net/images/added/awards/bulletmagnet.bmp http://bigdgaming.net/images/added/awards/gren.bmp http://bigdgaming.net/images/added/awards/ocrs.bmp http://bigdgaming.net/images/added/awards/opagamaserv.jpg
January 3, 201213 yr No i got mine like, 4 months ago? I still get emails. I don't even have a playstation so... I think someone just signed up to playstation network with my email.
January 3, 201213 yr Author Oh well sort it out soon as I figure out how to contact support lol don't think they exist http://matt.itsthemadhouse.com/na/sigs/na-sig-gruanch5.png http://bigdgaming.net/images/added/awards/bulletmagnet.bmp http://bigdgaming.net/images/added/awards/gren.bmp http://bigdgaming.net/images/added/awards/ocrs.bmp http://bigdgaming.net/images/added/awards/opagamaserv.jpg
January 3, 201213 yr I got one of them ages ago, i just ignored as it sent me a receipt for $10 I apparently spent on the PSN, it's total BS.
January 3, 201213 yr ... its simple, leave it. or set up security settings and make the person have to type in a pass ( different one form that one) to do anything.. oh wait thats xbox.... ps sucks..... :L enjoy getting billed :L joking, but contact them on there main page, there's got to be someway of doing that.
January 3, 201213 yr Gday GruAnch like some of these guy's said/asked just check your credit card details bro....I have a PS3 and I did have to enter my card details etc[almost 5 years ago]....even with the Cyber Hack of PSN I was not affected[in terms of credit card fraud]..Plus,legally speaking, the fact that you have even MENTIONED this on BigD forums means there is proof you have not signed onto PSN[in order to protect yourself should this become a real issue] It would be obviously a good thing to alert the PSN people of this event, but as long as no credit card details have been used, then i would not worry too much...As stated earlier, someones maybe gone "Phishing",but that's about all. Good luck

January 3, 201213 yr Hang on if they created an account with your email address dont they need to access your email to activate the account. I dont have a PS3 but I assume they have that level of security at the very least. If the PSN does have that level of security should you be more worried if person has access to your emails?
January 4, 201213 yr Hang on if they created an account with your email address dont they need to access your email to activate the account. I dont have a PS3 but I assume they have that level of security at the very least. If the PSN does have that level of security should you be more worried if person has access to your emails? Before Sony got hacked, to activate/create a PS3 account, you had to sign up on the PS3, which would then send an email to your nominated account. You would then have to activate the email on a computer before the account on the PS3 would become live. I don't know if they changed it since the drama. Evil Shenanigans!
January 4, 201213 yr Author No there was no activation link in that email. http://matt.itsthemadhouse.com/na/sigs/na-sig-gruanch5.png http://bigdgaming.net/images/added/awards/bulletmagnet.bmp http://bigdgaming.net/images/added/awards/gren.bmp http://bigdgaming.net/images/added/awards/ocrs.bmp http://bigdgaming.net/images/added/awards/opagamaserv.jpg
January 4, 201213 yr Looks more like one of those phishing emails to get you to click on a suss link. Although from the title I thought you'd gotten yourself a ps3 .
