is the i5 2500k still the go? 225

my old mobo doesnt like win7

keeping 4870 for now

new ram corsair cmz169x3m94 4 sticks of 4 gig $189

new basic mobo asus P87E8-V $149

snuffy 2500k is good to go man, not sure if you need 16gb ram tho man, it has been proven that sometimes more can be less... 8GB is good for what ya need, and if your going to be buying a cheaper mobo.. i wouldnt give it 16gb bro..
