Hey guys, tried looking on the net for my problem, but noone else seems to be having the same problem.

So, here I am, sitting and my computer, happly playing away when all of a sudden, my PC freezes, my game crashes, then, my HDD dissapears.

Now, i have a Gigabyte GA-P67A-UD3P

Running Win 7 64b

With 4gm (in two, two gig sticks)

Gpu GTS450.

Note, i have 3 HDD.

1x500

1x750

1x1000.

Now, the drive that dissapeard was my 1tb drive, and no matter what i plug back into my PC all i get is either a RED or a YELLOW bios, (yellow happened when i plugged my DVD drive back in)

But the HDD's still work on my Dad's PC?

Any ideads?

(And Thanks in advance for any help given)

What do you mean by red bios? Is that bad in that it wont load or something else?

Does it show up in your BIOS?

Very similar thing happened on my sisters PC, a HDD that i was running a recovery on crashed half way through with an error saying the disk wasn't available. It shows up in the BIOS, however Windows will not recognise it. Still have to try it in my PC tho.

It shows up sometimes.

Some times it show up as [ ]

and thats all.

And then sometimes its not found at all.

When i boot the computer, it Starts, then goes to the bios screen by itself and looks all wacked up, i cant do anything there, but the parts that i can see on the screen are flashing red

maybe try a new bios battery, could be causing some nastiness to happen...ideally a dodge battery should just mean none of you bios settings stay set but batteries are funny things...
