Good question... who knows. I just searched "Gallente" not EvE considering it searches for posts unless you change the preferences. Aaa well...

I've just got into it, and so it's pretty cool.

 

Awesome game - I used to play shooters only, got a bit sick of the hackers and stat whores, so tried EVE. That was three years ago

 

You can download it and try it out for 14 days free - or hit a current player (me ) up for a buddy key and get 21 days free play.

 

It's huge - takes a while to realise how massive it really is, and it aint easy to get into, so the 21 days is a good taste. Doesn't hold you by the hand like so many other MMO's, and just lets you find your own way.

 

If you give it a shot, look up some local Corporations (EVE's version of a clan or guild) and hook up with them. It's not a game that plays well solo

Yeah, I'm breezing into it at the mo, just mining and stuff for some cash and doing jobs on the side.

Its pretty fun.

i find i have a love hate relationship with this game. i like it then i'm doing well hate it if i loss a big costly ship or clone. tho i just started my 3rd acc now so...

oh, i forgot to mention. I am a Eve-Radio DJ, been there about 2 months. my show is today, 6am gmt - 8am gmt. Today's music theme, the stages of grief. CCP has let go/fired 20% of its workforce, for prehaps good reason but still, most of them were in the community team, so its pretty much ripping the heart out of the community. Along with the Lead Developer, CCP Hammer...
