I know the regular 6000 second spawn fix of just clicking to change kits or spawn location but every time I play now, I just join the server and get one life I have achieved spawn before with this problem but it takes at least two minutes of furious clicking on spawns, squads, kits and everything untill i drops to one second again. Are there any fixes for this because its happening every time I play now.. :disgust:

Actually click the "spawn/done" button in the bottom right hand corner instead of pressing enter...

This was added in 0.97

 

You need to literally click done, not just press enter, you need to click done on the spawn screen

Do you want us to close this thread... I don't think the forum mods should be held responsible to clean up the mess....

Seriously, when you're waiting to respawn it says in plain text, in the middle of the screen: "Press done to respawn".

 

The press enter to respawn feature was disabled due to people spawning in when they didn't want to. For example you would be waiting for your SL to set a rally point and then you find yourself spawning at main because you pressed enter.

i never had that problem in the older versions,i just pressed anywere on the map not on a spawn point problem fixed just un select spawn point ,am i right..

It really wasn't that hard to click off spawn points so you didn't spawn but obviously that concept eluded some people.

Very rarely was it a right pain in the ass though... I've died a few times in a vehicle or something and gotten distracted giving my squad commands from the grave only to spawn somewhere no longer useful.

 

I'd have to agree though... it definitely wasn't a big issue and I at least find it more annoying having to click respawn every damned time I die as opposed to occasionally ending up in whoop whoop.

Yeah really confused the hell out of me because i been pressing enter to spawn for so long
