Posted October 10, 201113 yr Hi Well I Just Got This ATi 6950 2GB Card And Connected With HDMI Cable. I Cannot Get The Resolution To 1920 x 1080 On My 24" Monitor ? I've Tried A Few Things people Have Suggested On Mr Google But I Cannot Get It To Show Up Or Work. Yelp Me Plz http://www.users.on.net/~beljas/sigs/buzzard.png
October 10, 201113 yr 1) Try change the resoution through the ATI control centre 2) Install different video drivers 3) Try DVI or VGA connections and see if the limit is still there When changing resolutions is: a) The option for 1920 x 1080 missing? b) The screen goes black when you select it? http://i.imgur.com/rfTYp.png
October 10, 201113 yr Author Changing Resolution Is a) And DVI Works But Still Wanna Get This HDMI Cable Doing, Have Tried Ati's Previous Drivers Still Same. http://www.users.on.net/~beljas/sigs/buzzard.png

October 10, 201113 yr Well since we now know that only HDMI input is causing the issue, it makes it easier to diagnose the cause. Which resolutions ARE available??? Check the device manager & post a screenshot of it with the 'display adapters' and 'audio devices' fields expanded. http://i.imgur.com/rfTYp.png
October 10, 201113 yr What actually happens on the screen when you use the HDMI cable? There isn't some funky OSD option for your monitor that could be stuffing it up for you could there or was it working okay with your previous card? There comes a time in every musician's life when they must decide what instrument they should master. Few. If any are ever worthy enough to master. The cowbell.

There isn't some funky OSD option for your monitor that could be stuffing it up for you could there or was it working okay with your previous card? Nothing Happens Apart From My Monitor Switches Over To HDMI Input. And When I Put DVI In It Switches To DVI Input. But My Screen Res Like If I Right Click My Desktop Its Set To 1920 x1080 60 Hz and In Control Center I Can't Match It ? I'm Pretty Sure Its Something To Do With Ati Settings Or Something. http://www.users.on.net/~beljas/sigs/buzzard.png
October 10, 201113 yr Author Ok well i got 1920 x 1080 to show up by changing this pixel format to YCbCr 4:4:4 But It Is Still Very Blurry http://www.users.on.net/~beljas/sigs/buzzard.png
October 10, 201113 yr Try 1920 x 1080 interlaced (1080i) as very occasionally screens do not support 1080p. Device manager seems happy. Very strange issue you have there. Edit: What is the model of your screen? Is it a TV or computer monitor? http://i.imgur.com/rfTYp.png

October 10, 201113 yr What model monitor is it? What is its native res ? Some 24" are 1920 x 1200 . A HDMI output will try to treat the monitor as a TV so youll get overscan CCC should have some settings to twiddle with. :hi:
October 10, 201113 yr Author Samsung Sync-master 2494HS Its Definitely A 1920 x 1080 Monitor =p Have Used Underscan But Its Blurry As hell. I'm Currently Running DVI 1920 x 1080 And Its Very Very Clear. http://www.users.on.net/~beljas/sigs/buzzard.png
