Graphics card fried?

http://www.pccasegear.com/images/giga_6970_oc_2_s.jpg

Ok so i have 1 of ^^^ and last night my game crashed on kokan, screen went black and was stuttering and would not turn off or reset.I had to turn off at the plug and it would not start up again. It would power up but no beeps and no boot to bios..... After quite a bit of reading I started to take apart the pc and replacing bits and pieces and the only way I could get it to boot up was putting my old 5770 card back in and it came to life. Would this mean its fried? It's not even 3 months old. Any help or advice would be appreciated.

System as follows.

Intel i7 950

Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R

12 GB corsair ram

64 bit

corsair 750 psu

i wouldnt say its fried dude i had the same problem though it was after overclocking my 6870 to high. all i had to do was reset the bios by pulling out the bios battery for a good 10 mins and then put it back in and reboot (hopefully).

hope that helps dude.
