I want to start doing some of this for funzies so can the community recommend any good tools to use? I have 12gb of ram so thats covered.

fps dropping like mad whenever i record, specifically bf3 beta (ultra settings), any suggestions on how i can improve my frames w/o lowering graphics setting too far?

Try recording with MSI afterburner u may get better FPS

what am i doing with afterburner to help me get better frames, something particular i need to do with it?

EDIT: Dont worry, i fixed it by recording to a 500mb External HDD with usb 3.0

After burner is not resource heavy or reduce your FPS while recording unlike FRAPS

 

And you can OC your GFX card at the same time

so you know

premier pro is suppose to do video editing

after effects is suppose to do special effects

they cost quite alot, dont really want to spend $800, so im guessing either get elements or vegas
