Bonus points for making jebediah scared.

Jebediah is cr-aaaaaazy! You can point the rocket at the ground and crank full thrust and he still grins!

Managed to grab this shot just after the descent, thought i'd reached 'escape velocity' as it slowed to around 251 then started counting back up, managed to get just over 334100m but missed that milestone

My green turds are currently at 3,500,000km and still traveling at a velocity of 5000m/s, Bill Kerman has been looking pretty upset since 2,000,000km

Ok so by the time i had started writing to getting the screenshot they had done another 1,000,000km :db:

 

Their now at 6,000,000km, huston i think we may have a problem

Lol i dont think it works that way, if i turned the pod around id just be flying backwards, i knew i should have saved the last stage for emergency use only,

[edit] - YHN, nah not yet. need to get my rocket coat on so i can design a SERIOUS rocket for launch, use a bunch of solids for blast off then crank the liquid rockets after, should be awesome!

Omn nom nom nom, this is so addicting. Im so bad, managed to get to 23000 but I released my rockets to early by mistake and exploded.

Multi stage launch

 

1st stage:

3 stages of 9 solid rockets + 3 liquid rocket engines with 12 fuel tanks

 

2nd stage:

1 liquid rocket engine with 2 fuel tanks

I ended the mission at 2 hours because i wanted to build another rocket

 

I reached escape velocity so my speed was stable after 16,000,000km at 4853.0m/s for an hour then it increase to 4853.1m/s, distance from Kerbal was 32,794,000km when i ended the flight

Well my rocket is gone, wish we could save more than 1 rocket design, if you have a saved rocket and build another one remember going to the launch pad will overwrite the previous rocket with autosave

nah it wont - rename the rocket up the top and hit save - i have about 17 or so now

nice one Hamster, next time make sure to save a couple of fuel stage rockets so you can crack the 10,000m/s mark (o;

Ok - Big D has now become pioneers in the space program and have now made their own solid fuel rocket.

 

i'd include screens but its probably more fun to look yourself.
