Bit preemptive here but I'm excited. 59 days to go, schoolies booked and almost paid for. I had my last ever graphics exam today (only 2 more assignments for that particular subject). My last ever maths assignment is due next thursday and my last ever tech job is about 3/4 done.

 

Just under the 3 week mark till the big QCS test.

 

Anyway, I just wanna see who else is finishing this year and what you wanna do next year?

Finishing school is THE best feeling.

Just thinking about the last time I left those gates........Brings a tea to me' eye.

ill just be happy when it's over, not planning on going to Uni straight after school, gonna have a gap year and work to get money then spend the money on booze then wonder why i have no money and work some more

Next year I plan on melting my brain for about 12 months, then maybe seeing if I have a few brain cells left for tertiary education.

 

I finish my last exam at 5pm on Friday the 4th of November, then I get into my mates van, head out to the middle of the bush where someone has set up a bunch of speakers, lasers and a desk and forget a vast majority of otherwise useless information.

HELL YEAH.

Don't take a gap year unless you really have to, you'll want to get uni out of the way as soon as you can once you start, well I do

Yeah, I'm going to schoolies in Airlie. There's like 10 of us in this one small 2/3 bedroom apartment (10 of my most craziest mates).

 

Over the xmas holidays I plan to either work at Hamilton Island or another island as a grounds keeper, to get some moolah OR I'm gonna go and work at the mines cleaning heavy equipment for a few months.

 

Then I'm gonna blow my dough down in Brisvegas whilst I hopefully live on campus and catch up with all you southern mexicans!

Haha i finished last year school was the best time of my life, even got a tattoo on the last day the represented our logo haha.

 

But sorry to tell you that uni is ****! its much harder work and just crap all round, im always to poor and stressed about assignments to have fun at Uni.

My advice.....Take a gap year and fry your brain. then when u get bored of that, go to Uni and "learn"

Yea I definitely recommend taking a gap year. I didn't and fizzled out after a year of studying at uni. Luckily I still came out of it with a qualification so it has not affected me finding work. I envy you schoolies, I quite miss my rebellion years and making the teachers lives a living hell ;D.

Well, tomorrow is the start of the big one. I remember being back in grade 8 and watching all the yr12's disappear for a couple of days to finish the QCS - now it's finally my turn.

I actually enjoyed the QCS more than any other examination I have ever done.

Thanks Chan, I'm not worrying much just excited that the end is just about in sight - which is pretty scary at the same time.

IT'S OVERRR!

 

Bloody finished, that countdown clock with the last 20 seconds was one of the sweetest feelings in my life. Feels so liberating, with just a minimum amount of assessment keeping me in school. 11 weeks and two days - so 79 days (including holidays) till I walk through those gates for the last time!

Finished this term's assessment yesterday with a 2hr physics exam. I didn't nail it, but I don't think I went too shabbily. Was meant to have a Drama performance tonight, but one of the other actors went to Hospital, so we're planning it for next term now.

 

7 pieces of assessment left and 34 school days evarr!

 

Oh and I also finished my logbook just then, total of 106.75hrs! Hopefully will be a P plater early next term

Stuff just got real.

 

QTAC preferences lodged and payed for.

College Application submitted and sent down to Brisbane.

Logbook has now been sent and is now awaiting approval.

I was going to sell my books after the hsc, but burning them was... well so much more enjoyable
