We've been running the AD Framework for a few months now... I think most of the regulars have an understanding of what it is....so this is more directed at the newer players who I have seen failing at the commands.
Background:
Quote from After Dune stolen from the AD Framework manual which is located here.
Benefits:
Most Server Admins have noticed increased server stability after migration to the AD Framework without going into details, suffice to say this is because BF2CC which was traditionally used for server management was notorious for causing server crashes.
The added benefit is that the player is also able to issue several commands to assist them.
Commands Available:
Limitations:
mmm.. steep learning curve when we first cutover- instead of using a gui for server management there are a number files which need to updated.
I think that's about all for now.... just remember issuing these commands in global chat is not necessary, and will be treated the same as global spam.
