WHY do we mess around when we have low tickets why does nobody think that mabey the other team has the same amount? i dont get it just then on qwai for a good 5-10 mins we had people shooting walls next to a fob while about 6 people kept fighting, we lost by 11 soo yeah any one else notice this?

When the tickets are that low and perhaps that low on both teams,

saying GG only really lets the other team feel more confident and

appears to be a way for people to global chat. I mean, GG

may be fair enough *right at the very end* but going GG before then

just lets the other team know your team is rooted. If the other

team was also rooted, you might just give them the confidence boost

to hang on and win.

 

That said, those who love to try and Global Chat for any reason

may well be the ones who first "GG". While it may feel like your

opportunity to prove your existence to the world through a

statement or two on Global Chat ("giving it to the man" Admin

Nazis who won't let you giggle, whine and wave Global chat handkerchiefs at

other players during the game proper) - it basically annoys the crap

out of people and even more so when it happens a long way from

the actual finish of the game. If you are marked by your own

behaviour as a persistent PITA, you are more likely to be the

first to be culled when you join in any silliness or Global Chat gossip.

On a related note (and partially directed at the periodic influx

of new players) - Teamkilling at round's end because you think

"it doesn't matter" will still get you banned from the servers.

Other stupid behaviour will as likely end in one of the admins

going through the BattleRecorder footage (yes, we can play back

all those silly things that some of you do and we can make videos

from it as evidence) and determining what punishment

to hand out.

 

Have fun, enjoy the game but don't be a complete knob because

your team is losing.

It is time consuming, and frustrating... so when we do find evidence following intel (usually in the form of !r or playerreports emails) you can expect some action to be taken.

There is a reason the other team can't see your tickets! Don't let them on to the fact that you've nearly lost.

"The battle was indecisive, no one could claim victory..."? Means tickets were equal, as in a draw.

The last time an admin performed an !runnext was the 04/07 at 1846pm on the map dragon_fly after approx 40 minutes. It's clear from the chatlog that they didn't have a mandate from the players on at the time. I will remind the admins that this is unacceptable unless for extreme circumstances (and I would expect them to advise us of their logic in the admin section). Sincere apologies for any inconvenience.

Bugger, it means we can never be certain if that round of fools was an actual draw when the timer ran out (a very rare occurance) or if the admins typed !runnext at the last second.

 

The tension reaching the end of that round, so was so tight, you could cut it with a knife...

I think we shound not allow GG untill the game is over even though it sounds a little harsh

Making a rule of it is a tad excessive although having a go at anyone that says it before the Round is Ending message should be acceptable

yeah i was playing at the time and we got asked by admin wether we wanted to skip as we were getting our you know what handed to us and we said no as we were still having fun and then boom match ended......

and its all good Noddy it wasnt you and im not pissed at the admin that did it either. because as an admin it was their call to make and they made it. you guys are like cops some people get annoyed at your judgement but its your judgement to make not theirs.

So well done admins for doing a job i wouldnt do.
