Match: BigD vs Poland, Friendly match 32v32

Map: Kashan alt (attack chopper assets layer)

Faction: MEC

Date: *** NOW Sunday 19th***

Time: 8pm Sydney time = 10pm NZ time

Server: OCN World Cup server. Password = OCNSERVER

 

Note:

1) No BF2 voip is available on this server as it is broken, all comms via TS/squad mumble.

 

2) This match will have full 0.95 tickets - so could be 2-3 hours. One round only.

 

All participants need to:

(1) ROLES: form into squads before the match using this thread. This means getting a squad leader to endorse a role (inf, armour, chopper, APC etc) and form up their squaddies.

Note that all squads will be vetted by Spider as Mr. supremo commander. All participants are expected to post here, otherwise you'll not get a spot in the starting side. Reserves will be welcomed on the night though.

 

(2) COMMS: SLs need to get their squad set up for TS whispers and/or mumble before the match. Commander, SLs + choppers will be in a different TS channel to the grunts. Setup whispers with your squad. INstructions: http://www.bigdgaming.net/showthread.php?p=251364#post251364

 

(3) STRATEGIC BRIEFING will be held here via PM to SLs and/or via ATC software as determined by Spider.

 

(4) ARRIVE EARLY please be there at least 30 mins prior to match to get set up

 

(5) tags will be: BigD

 

(6) spirit: All members will be expected to play in high spirits as you will be representing the BigD Community. No Global chat by anybody except the commander is permitted until the end of the match when polite GGs are in order. This is not a random pub bash - all squads will be expected to play to the commander's orders, or you will be kicked out for someone else to play.

 

(7) RESERVES: Reserves are welcomed on the night. Priority will be given to those who've posted in this thread.

(a) find Wokeye in TS - after 7:30pm

(b) Request whether your services are needed.

I'd be happy to have a go, but with my comp out of action for a while longer, I think I'II request for a reserve spot.

Are we having a practice rollout session - they are great.

Im in. Sounds excellent.. or should. TS and Mumble sounds better than BF2 voip.

Saltbush - yep we should do that at least once to get rollout right.

 

I'll get Spider to nominate a date. Spider - there's a scrim on this sunday night between [bD] and AUX, but otherwise I cant seem any particaulr clashes with running a training session.

lets see how we go for numbers - maybe a small midweek one for the command group to work on strats and thought process and then a final one on friday or sat night with all of us ?

Won't online until about 20 minutes after the starttime but I'll be there for the full round inf/armour/air whereever im needed

any chance to get some time on the OCN world cup server, to practice on aim, accounting for the difference in ping? in nz, for me... gamingau is a respectable 100ms. Once the net goes over vocus, it will jump 200 ms or something. Unless OCN is australian based?
