NBN speeds will be a ****load better then what we are currently using (Copper wires) .... and 5mbs is good, that equates to 40mbits /s

The NBN will 'guarantee' speed of up to 1Gbps to the POI, then it will depend on the ISP's network.

Tasmania beta tested it didn't they?? Anyway i swear ive seen them put wires in near my house

Its so well, My broadband speed is 1 mbps and downloading speed is 256 kb/sec. This is fine for me, the problem is it is with wires and so troubling.

I've been watching them put it around my suburb here. Not to sure what they're up to though.

I use to work for pipe as a contractor before the buyout.

NBN is available in the estate next to mine here in Pakenham, yet my estate is on a RIM locked to ADSL1

 

Infrastructural FAIL

None of the NBN test site are near Pakenham, you'll probably find that the fibre will have been put in by the developers.
