New maps, who could say no?

Server 1 is running the 3 maps in rotation, and it's only 280mb or so, so why not download it and give it a whirl .

Is Barentz Invasion playable? I'm hearing on the realitymod forums people are getting unplayable FPS on it.

Barentz Invasion = epic map, massive performance drop (worst than falluGAH) but can be epic. The other 2 are big white and dull.

Had a handful of great rounds on the Christmas maps. Barentz Invasion is the best map I've seen... ever.

 

 

My 2c, add Barents Invasion and one of the other two to the 'usual' rotation. I realize this means creates issues for anyone without the new maps, but... they can download 'em.

i played on baretz and didnt niotice any performance lag were as faluja is nie normaly unplayable. agree with edd it would be good to see these maps introduced into normal server rotation. its not lke its to much to download when theve already downloaded the 3G required for the latest version

I had a bit of a play last night on Barentz and suffered no FPS drop at all. I don't really get lag on Fallujah either but heavy forested maps I do. I guess it might have something to do with how my video settings are configured but I've found it to be an enjoyable map.

 

Haven't played the others yet.

Both the other 2 are Quinling but with white on the ground, Barentz is by far the best.
