Posted August 4, 201014 yr Hey guys. I posted this on my clans forum to show an example of what a game looks like running at 10,000 frames per second, and wanted to share it with you guys. [ame= ] [/ame] Looks good in normal view but looks amazing at 1080p. Tell me what you think. http://www.ugclan.org/jassinlive/images/sig2.png =]UG[= Underground Gamers
August 4, 201014 yr i dont get it are those beams of light meant to represent debris flying or is it a graphical bug? cant the human eye not notice FPS higher than 60 or something? Good Conduct http://bigdgaming.net/images/added/awards/goodconduct.bmp
August 4, 201014 yr Author i dont get it are those beams of light meant to represent debris flying or is it a graphical bug? cant the human eye not notice FPS higher than 60 or something? basically it shows a time period of 1 second being slowed down to show a total of 10,000 frames. So what you are seeing now is what happened in a time period of only one second. http://www.ugclan.org/jassinlive/images/sig2.png =]UG[= Underground Gamers
August 4, 201014 yr The human eye isn't limited to any frame rate per say. Your screen is 60hz So it cant' display a frame rate greater then 60. Particle effects pretty-ish When in trouble or in doubt, RUN IN CIRCLES SCREAM AND SHOUT!!! [url]http://nanourl.net/46e85[/url]
August 4, 201014 yr Yeah that's pretty awesome how it's basically insane slowmo. http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/ee94/psyrus_uraya/awards-1.png QFT: Your computer is smart man. It tells you not to play the second worst PR map [burning Sands] (first is Wanda Shan). QFT: if you dont get pissed off when you lose you dont care enough

Particle effects pretty-ish The human eye cant notice any change beyond about 40-50fps from what I've heard.. As it can only process that much per second in the brain?? Not 100% but I remember hearing that from someone/somewhere
August 4, 201014 yr That's pretty cool, looks like a laser light show or something. Why not use HL2's build in recording tools? Fraps sucks a big one
August 4, 201014 yr Author rendering is kind of a work around with the steam recorver. doesn't always look as good as fraps. http://www.ugclan.org/jassinlive/images/sig2.png =]UG[= Underground Gamers
