Posted July 22, 201014 yr Has anyone else been getting spam calls from this number ? 0755121013 It is a marketing ploy. It is happening to a lot of people. http://800notes.com/Phone.aspx/1-075-512-1013/6 I have signed up on the Do No Call register (edited) https://www.donotcall.gov.au/ The number belongs to these people: http://www.wyndhamvrap.com/privacy (The irony of having a privacy policy...) How it works - they have an automated system that calls you, rings a couple of times and hangs up. If you pick up the phone, it hangs up. If you call back (from what I have read) you get a computer message system or an operator. The idea is to get you to waste *your* money calling *them* so that they can try to sell you stuff you don't want, need and probably can't afford. Caller ID: 0755121013 Caller: Wyndham Vacation Call Type: Telemarketer If it becomes a problem for you (I get a call almost every other day from them and I don't and never have answered the bastards) Their head office number is +61 075512 8888 but who wants to call them to waste money to stop them calling you... email: customerservices@wyndhamvrap.com the Do Not Call register takes 31 days to become active on the numbers you submit... They only call my mobile phone. Edited July 22, 201014 yr by mandatory05 "When you have to kill a man, it costs nothing to be polite." - Winston Churchill
July 22, 201014 yr For what its worth, the site you linked, https://www.donotcall.gov/, is the American one and Wyndham Vacation appears to be Australian based. The Australian Do Not Call Register is at https://www.donotcall.gov.au/

July 22, 201014 yr If it didn't cost me to call them, I'd use this script on them: http://www.xs4all.nl/~egbg/counterscript.html http://bigdgaming.net/images/added/awards/merc.bmp On the topic of shiny auscam... the sound they made while bush walking made it seem like I was doing mean things to little furry animals inside my pants

July 23, 201014 yr love that reply sandy. My business gets these telemarketer calls almost every day around 5pm usually from people speaking english with indian accents. I have resorted to asking them to hold, and then put the phone down and resume my usual business. After 5 mins they are gone. I might try this one out though, it seems like fun. http://img408.imageshack.us/img408/4912/chargerd.gif Superbowl this year boys
July 23, 201014 yr My wife use to work for a company with three incoming lines, without fail the telemarketers would call each line in turn and run through the same speil on all of them. Best response she ever had was one bloke refusing to listen to her so she said "okay, well i'm hanging up now, thank you and have a nice day", he then calls back absolutely irrate and starts going off about how she hung up on him then said "lets see how YOU like it" then hangs up on her . . . like she cared (o: There comes a time in every musician's life when they must decide what instrument they should master.
