Hehe. I downloaded this about....2 years ago? If you actually follow the directions it will give you some funny feelings, however, I never experienced anything that could/would damage me. It works by playing with your inner ear. By making you feel unbalanced etc., it can give you similar feelings to intoxication.

Quite fun if you have a few friends over :D

Lol I think the dark room and meditation state acheived through siting still is more relevant the music could possibly trigger euphoric feelings as it states

"We create every track we sell and offer the most effective digital simulations available anywhere," he said.

In fact, he's been selling mood-modifying tracks for 10 years and there's plenty of other websites and apps promoting the benefits of aural stimulation"

I do believe that tones and frequencies just like magnets/electricity etc can effect use in ways.

Ollllllllllldddddd.

Tried it before, all it gave me was a severe dose of boredom and annoyance.

It's a have, and good on them if they can get a quick buck off fools gullible enough to pay money for it.

yeaaa booooy.

As someone who is in this field, it is very possible to alter a persons attitude or mood through the use of sound.

The repeditive use of samples in alot of Trance music was brought through from Extacy and other drugs, as these drugs' effects are more "severe" for lack of a better word when your brain is recieving these repeditive sounds.

In alot of clubs its is now the law for DJ's to play slower music towards the end of the night, and in some clubs even chuppa chups are handed out to calm down hyped up punters. This is however not the law, but is highly effective as a way of desensitizing the brain, through aural and physical stimulation.

But back more on topic. In a seminar I attended last year we experienced a few of these "tricks" for the brain.

Altering phase and delay between channels can cause this "intoxicated" effect while wearing headphones. It even made one of our guys sick!

However the most powerful tool is power. Gut wrenching bottom end in certain frequency and beat ranges (modulation) can cause extreme aggravation. High end continuous tones and pulses (modulation around 6-7k with 4-5k) can cause a similar effect. Combined this can convert almost anyone into a bad mood.

Long slowly modluated frequencies (200-250hz) can create a pleasing enviroment.

I'd go into this more but I'm at work and have to type almost silently.

Also, not everyone is effected by these tricks, its like motion sicknes. Some get it, some dont.

Basically.

Extreme low end, as in < 30hz can cause dillusions. Thats always good for a laugh when theres a few unused subs kicking around.

Yup.

Tried it a few months ago.

It took ages, wasnt working and i got bored and went to sleep.

Basically you lie there for ages and ages on your back and dont move, then your body is like "Hmmm, i think hes asleep" so you get a little urge to roll over, and if you dont, its like "Hey! This guy is asleep! Lets paralyse his body and break out the crazy trippy videos!"

Then you have semi-dreams while concious.

Sounds kinda fun.

OH hey! 500 posts! go me!

After that night I started peeing out the window to avoid going down the hallway when it was dark.

If someone wants to trip without drugs - I highly recommend meditation.

That's as close as you will get in this life to a drug-free trip in a healthy

state.

"When you have to kill a man, it costs nothing to be polite."

- Winston Churchill

This program works by using something called Binaural beats.

Two sounds differing in frequency by a few hertz are played one into each ear.

Your brain can hear the beat frequency caused by the difference in frequency, you can learn to tune your brain to it and alter your brainwaves using this technique, it has been used for meditation for a while.

The I-Doser program used high amplitude binaural beats which are not recommended in general by various people who use binaural beats for meditation.

It also effectively stole a piece of open source software (SBaGen http://uazu.net/sbagen/) which it uses to generate the sounds.

I have several of the I-Doser doses in the SBaGen format but havent tried them really, it takes practise to use binaural beats I believe.

In answer to the person asking about a loudspeaker and anyone listening becoming intoxicated, no this will not work with one loudspeaker, and using two would need you to be in a very specific spot facing a certain way, headphones are much better.
