It's a cool show, but I can't really take him that seriously after I heard about the controversy. Still a fun show to watch though.

However, what I hear from most people is:

Games based on movies = bad

Games based on TV shows = horrible

i met bear grylls

hes pretty cool

Completely real or not, the show is very entertaining, and teaches some very valid survival tactics. Doesn't really tarnish my view, it's like when I heard a friend say he was never going to watch The Chasers again because some of their skits were staged. I'll keep enjoying it as is...

I really enjoy the show, by today's TV show standard compared to all the other **** anyway.

I really don't think i'd buy a game of it though.

There are a lot of young kiddies who idolise Bear Grylls.

That alone is enough to make this game a success.

It doesn't look high-end - so like so many other

games which come out it is all just about the

commercial revenue source cross-referencing

and cross-marketing of a franchise.

It is an interesting show which, separating presentation from

actual content and any inherent controversies pending, is really

quite interesting and has some actual useful survival information.

It's a slippy surface though... next - Bear Grylls action figures...

- Winston Churchill

Lol yeah, you can tell ALOT of what he does is set up and probably uses alot of stuff hes not supposed too off camera.. But there can be quite alot of useful information on the show which is good. Usually better than whatever's on channel 10 anyway... I miss NZ tv :(......

The show is still pretty awesome IMO. He may sleep in hotels or something some nights, but how many people can honestly say they have clubbed a rattlesnake to death and then eaten it?

I can't really think of a better role model for the kids to have, Sandy :rambo:

Well, aside from Feynman :B
