Posted May 22, 201014 yr Dear BigD, I am getting so much disconnect which states that I loose connection with the server... Is it only me or is it everyone? Me and Flowright are always loosing connection, it is happening so much that I feel like giving up to PR... Please tell me that is not normal right? May 22, 201014 yr go to TPG site & cruise the threads as the whole page is practically about the same thing!!!!!!!!! tpg say to change your modulation however it makes no difference!! unless tpg fix it soon itl be adios amigos!! ive been with tpg since 1994 & would hate to say goodbye, however!! i miss PR , Counter strike doesnt quite hit the spot.

May 22, 201014 yr I just recently changed to Internode after being with BigPong for several years. I get a *much* better deal and *much* better d/l speed. Sometimes a change is a good thing. May 22, 201014 yr I have been with TPG for a while now and about 2 months ago my ping has sky rocket to around 500-1000ms, spent the last 2 months with TPG engineers trying to tell them the fault was not on my end, they eventually sent out a Telstra Technician to find out the problem to then tell me the Exchange is congested. Since I have a month left on my contract, I asked TPG to stop my ADSL service (yes we dont have ADSL2+ Telstra owns all the ports and some other ISP use the same ports but at a huge price) and waive any fees, to thier credit they have done so So now that I know my exchange is congested I dont think i would bother going with another ADSL ISP as I may experience the same problem. My other option is to give into the Telstra Gods and get ADSL2+ at a hefty price, althought they are having a special atm where $50 a month gives me ADLS2+ and 25GB usage, but on a 2 year contract :S But would I expierence the same issues, does the ADSL2+ port or lines work the same way as ADSL Here is my exchange http://www.adsl2exchanges.com.au/viewexchange.php?Exchange=PKAM Edited May 22, 201014 yr by soulnsurf
May 23, 201014 yr You may not have the same issue, I'm almost certain the problem is on TPG's end. I've been with them for about 3 weeks now and still have 18 months left on my contract, I am bloody fuming. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
May 23, 201014 yr yeah im with TPG at the moment. getting the same dropouts as well, nothing we can do on our end will fix it. so i think i will be changing ISP very shortly. going over to Internode. also seeing as i upload a fair bit and TPG now count uploads and internode doesn't its going to work out about the same price for me, just better service and free content servers. why havent i changed sooner! http://img534.imageshack.us/img534/6989/25156655.jpg

May 24, 201014 yr post on the tpg forums about all this & they still want to check each account individually!!!! when will they wake up that this a wide spread problem & its not from the end user!!!
