Posted May 16, 201014 yr I recently discovered a tip which I thought I'd share. If you have any monitor "ghosting" on your LCD - just try moving the PC-Monitor cable around a bit, it can remove the visual artefacts from the screen. I had horizontal ghosting which was fixed by a simple repositioning of the cable. Worst case scenario - replace the cable; best case scenario - just move it (it worked for me). May 16, 201014 yr errr there is no such thing as ghosting with LCDs , CRTs usally had that problem. My TV has it , but i don't think thats possible with LCD technology [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC][WC]Private http://bigdgaming.net/images/added/awards/valorousunit.bmphttp://bigdgaming.net/images/added/awards/armouredservice.bmp http://img230.imageshack.us/img230/2315/ubd4327.png http://img80.imageshack.us/img80/6780/blackmagikzwc.png "A tank is like a fat timid kid at a dance party , always too shay to get into the action and ask a girl to dance with him and always backs down after every approach" -Some Marine Capitan i forgot- Iwo Jima

May 16, 201014 yr i'm only agruing this on the grounds of technology Bugger it , How stuff works would do a better job then me explaining it for those who don't know http://electronics.howstuffworks.com/tv.htm http://electronics.howstuffworks.com/lcd.htm With less electricity to produce an image , it would be more controlable and how the current is managed etc and yeah i have looked at some google links and most of those stories involve LCD's with response times of 21ms , 16ms and 8ms and most of them are dated. i did read 2 pages , not going to view them all mines 2ms with a good cable and just then Gossy tells me it happens when people don't plug in thier LCD's properly , i assumed people would plug them in properly when pluging in thier devices ! :rolleyessmileyanim: and of course faulty cables from what i know , devices won't start if they don't get enough juice and most of time no power at all [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC][WC]Private http://bigdgaming.net/images/added/awards/valorousunit.bmphttp://bigdgaming.net/images/added/awards/armouredservice.bmp http://img230.imageshack.us/img230/2315/ubd4327.png http://img80.imageshack.us/img80/6780/blackmagikzwc.png "A tank is like a fat timid kid at a dance party , always too shay to get into the action and ask a girl to dance with him and always backs down after every approach" -Some Marine Capitan i forgot- Iwo Jima

May 17, 201014 yr Yeah that sort of issue is probably from Electrical Interference, this is most likely because you monitor cable is too close to a power cable (Maybe in your wall) and hence why moving it can help to fix the issue. If my phone line is too close to a power cable my modem will drop out on a regular basis (No its not because of insufficient filtering, modem is very sensitive). Move the cable away from power and it works flawlessly. http://www.clan-tea.com/sigs/flames/Poncho-Temp.png Orders starting with SOMEBODY usually wind up being completed by NOBODY.
