Hi All,

 

We've had a few people had to drop out of the World Cup side, plus a few have not been communicative enough on the World Cup forums (hint hint! :disgust:) so we're keen to know about any other players who may wish to become a team reserve.

 

Note that:

1) you will be expected to sign up to and frequently visit the World Cup forum to check on team developments, which will come thick and fast due to time contraints and a lot to do.

2) you will be expected to RSVP to team roll calls and attend team training sessions unless your posted RSVP says otherwise.

 

Training will include:

a) sunday 2 May 7pm-10pm AEST

b) sometime next week (possibly friday night) 7:30pm AEST

c) training 1 hr before before the game time (see next point).

d) hang around in TS during the match (possibly 4 hour round time) either Sat nights 10pm-2am or Sundays Midday-4pm from weekend of May 8/9 and onwards each week.

 

Yes, the difficult game times and high expectations of your time commitment levels will mean we want to see only the most serious people apply. Selection will be via Squad leader vote.

 

As a reserve, there is no guarantee you will get a game - but saying that, a good number of reserves will most probably be called upon at some stage...

i have signed up , but im having problems accessing the world cup website every time i click it says internet explorer cannot display page

 

and it obviously isnt my net as im on it now and its fine

Note that we already have a good bunch of reserves - any additional players appointed this weekend will be added to the reserves group.

pop me down plz as long as Im not in DTAC's squad assuming he is a SL, otherwise i wont be able to hear for weeks...

dtacs is not a SL .. he is a member of a sq.

Regardless, If you want to join the team but not play with the members; You're gonna be outta luck.

Common guys, its going to be fun, reserves will normally always be able to play in training sessions and with 4 hour long game times there will most definitely be people dropping out and requiring subs.

 

We need a big list of reserves.

Actually, just place me on hold first. It seems that I got something urgent I need to clean up with my work. *might not be able to attend next training. I will fill in the server if I get the time Sun night. Is it password locked? PM would be good.

You Aussie need to pick up your game. We had tons of reserves for the first TTT. Awesome fight (except for lag) and brilliant final play to win it for the kiwis. If you watch to the end you'll see where tactics and teamwork really come together and we got to do the haka pre-rollout. AWESOME.

Draw and map announced tomorrow at 7am - I'm not exactly sure what to cross my fingers for... maybe the bye first round?... but they will be crossed nonetheless.
