Ive never had a problem with AA before .. tried turning it off also still the same

Alt tab is working fine too ..

i did replace the my docs battlefield folder with my old one so im wondering if thats where all the problems are coming from so im fresh installing now :(

Try the BF2 Alt-Tab fix, this happened with a couple other people and apparently the ALT-Tab fix sorted it out.

If the link for the file in that thread doesn't work, try this one:

http://planetbattlefield.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Other.Detail&id=107

Instructions are on the page but if you need it put simply:

1. Download the file: RendDX9.dll

2. Go to C:/Program Files/EA Games/Battlefield 2 and then extract or place the file here, it will ask to overwrite, accept.

3. After you have done this, go to My Documents/Battlefield 2/cache and delete the folder in there, it will auto replace itself so don't worry.

After that, start BF2/PR and you should be good to go.
