Well, I finally got my act together and managed to have a game on the new Muttrah City map. My god, it's awesome. There's so many variables and tactics that open up with a map like that and I'm excited. Very excited! Just wait 'til I get my full PR mojo back and look out!

 

To keep this from being just a happy rant, I had some luck as playing as a squad marksman, but in more of a vanguard role. We were defending a flag, but I would range out in the no mans land between flags, wait until the attacking squad moved past then pick one or two off from behind. Has anyone else had much luck with this sort of 'lonewolf but not really' approach?

well ur in luck cos muttrah is first up in the ocmmunity event

....and hopefully people will play it in the right spirit (imo) so everybody has a chance to have fun with some cool firefights around the city

I've done this several times with some success, but mainly on forest maps like Op ghost train and tad sae. Ghost train is awesome because there are a lot of nice bushes to hide in, giggidy!! Just wait for a full squad to move past you then pick off one or two before they know whats happening and then leave the rest till they get further away. If they have a RP behind you though it can put an end to it quickly unless you find a direction to escape.

The tactic that we used at the start of the round was a bit different but in the end it worked
