Posted December 9, 200915 yr Yes, it is possible Just doing my every day media class today when my teacher brought this engine up on screen: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OaFfCJwniIM]YouTube- Ripple Effect Test in Unity 3d[/ame] I would love to see that in a game Imagine all the players running for the water and walking around in it just to see the ripple effect following them Just a quick side not about this engine: We tried rendering a HUGE mesh file with it and we still had 100FPS, but using the C4 engine we had 10 :fans: Been trying a lot of engines and I think I'm starting to turn them into people :scare2: (By the way this is all for developing a school project computer game  ) Edited December 9, 200915 yr by LGN_Shadow http://www.bigdgaming.net/attachment.php?attachmentid=727&stc=1&d=1296346258 http://www.bigdgaming.net/attachment.php?attachmentid=724&stc=1&d=1296346251
December 9, 200915 yr ust a quick side not about this engine: We tried rendering a HUGE mesh file with it and we still had 100FPS, but using the C4 engine we had 10 What does that mean? That this engines better? Please spell it out for us less "engine" knowlegable people http://i574.photobucket.com/albums/ss187/Chanvlan/new_kit.jpg yeah but this is the internet' date=' you have to expect the unexpected or else you'll get caught out by things you should've expected but didn't. Its exactly like knowing about the stuff you dont know about, that way you know theres stuff you dont know so when you know what you dont know you can say "ah i knew that!"[/quote']
December 9, 200915 yr Author What is in my sig is for my private collection only :disgust: :shh: What does that mean? That this engines better? In order to play PR without feeling all jumpy you need a FPS of around ~20-30. So imagine playing with a FPS of 100 compared to an FPS of 10 Edited December 9, 200915 yr by LGN_Shadow http://www.bigdgaming.net/attachment.php?attachmentid=727&stc=1&d=1296346258 http://www.bigdgaming.net/attachment.php?attachmentid=724&stc=1&d=1296346251

December 9, 200915 yr Author IIRC the human eye doesn't notice the difference between 30->99999999999999999 fps Even so, it would feel a lot smoother And Spook is correct it is 60. At that point we see seamless fusion (ie black + white = a seamless grey). However, other objects with multiple colours and movements require more FPS to make the motion smooth Edited December 9, 200915 yr by LGN_Shadow http://www.bigdgaming.net/attachment.php?attachmentid=727&stc=1&d=1296346258 http://www.bigdgaming.net/attachment.php?attachmentid=724&stc=1&d=1296346251
