Heres the deal, last night I reformatted my PC and wacked Windows 7 Ultimate x86 onto it. Installed BF2 and patched right up to bf2_1.5 patch, then installed PR 0.874.

 

Loaded up the game, all normal, joined server 2 and shortly after I hit Join game/squad signup, I get the jiters - seriously, the screen freezes and flashes on and off about 4 times then just locks up on a frozen image of the game.

 

I've tired updating the graphics drivers, even older version which were 'stable and reliable', chipset drivers, windows updates.

 

Been searching the web for a similar issue but havent really found it thus far.

 

So this afternoon, I decided the issue was that Windows didn't install correctly, so I reformatted again and wacked Windows 7 Ultimate x64 on, updated all the drivers and did the windows updates.

 

Again the same issue is occuring and its really driving me and Evilrooter on TS mad with me moaning about this.

 

I've taken a video of what happens with my phone, i'm in the process of uploading it now.

 

Computer specs - she isnt quite up to date in hardware

Have you made sure that the drivers are compatible with Win 7?

What motherboard ?

What's the BSOD error code?

Seems to be an issue with the drivers for the card.

Until they bring out a new stable driver for win 7, sorry champ you're out of luck.
