Ok so I figure I should appologise for a few choppers lost last night, I probably should have tested my things in a training server

 

I configured my joystick so I knew that was ok, set the controls in PR settings but apparently as I just found out having keyboard secondary controls set conflicts with my joystick and I get no pitch or yaw control and it freaks out

 

So now its sorted you can feel safe that I will actually get it off the ground

Spray some WD-40 on your skills just in case

Please, everyone knows as long as you can take off your good to fly. Landings only need to be 50/50 affairs

Just blame it on a lag spike like 99% of virtual pilots do.

Yeah lag that's my usual excuse Nah dont know why the keyboard keys were interfering with it? But its resolved now

lol fail, but yeah, those falcon settings got me initially as well, twas a bit annoying with a full chopper and the chopper wouldn't go.

About those lag spikes, with my previous setup I used to get these pauses, which would last about 3 seconds, for no apparent reason, not good for Hueys...

i dont use joystick for helicopters, its way to hard to get used to its too touchy

 

i dont find it too hard to use the joy stick to fly choppers, infact, i prefer it to using the mouse or arrow keys
