October 16, 200915 yr how is it still working? wouldnt it be rusted to hell? It was under 3 metres of peat in what looks to be a fairly still probably nutrient and oxygen stratified lake . Rusting has probably not occured to a great degree because of anoxic conditions within the lake bed. bacteria in peat uses up oxygen in their metabolism so metal components undergo slower oxidisation (rusting) due to relatively low oxygen concentrations. That would be my educated guess. do you want to learn more!? check out bog men http://www.bigdgaming.net/images/added/awards/spambot.bmp http://www.bigdgaming.net/images/added/awards/whatthe.bmp The Bee Zed Zed
October 16, 200915 yr yeah according to the acticle it wasnt rusted at all and everything was fully working except for the engine. would be crazy if it worked right away and they hopped in and drove it somewhere lol.
October 16, 200915 yr as you would expect of the russians, not only do there AKs last for ever, so do their tanks. oh and pogo As far it has been known, after a small repair and service they were able to start it’s diesel engine. zeh germans are comingz! http://i.imgur.com/ebwNl.png The Nomula: nom = 3(nom) or 3nom :. nom = nomnomnom :. nomnomnom + omnnom^2 - nom = omnnomnomnomomn _____________________2nom( 1/2 nom) Oh' date=' and i shottie having gunners mutant epic PR playing children[/quote']
October 16, 200915 yr it's like when I was on a bus tour around Loch Ness some time ago. During the war when they were testing the dambusters (Lancasters dropping them ?) one of the aircraft went down in the Loch. 30 or 40 years later they brought it up and all the electricals and systems were working perfectly - because the water was so pure... no decay... October 16, 200915 yr water was so pure... no decay... thats why Nessy lives there, keeps the skin nice n healthy (o: There comes a time in every musician's life when they must decide what instrument they should master. Few. If any are ever worthy enough to master. The cowbell.
October 16, 200915 yr I love to read stories like these it makes you think what else is out their my mate 5 years ago found 2 rifles from back when Ned Kelly was still around in his own dam as well as heaps of other junk. They were still in good condition apart from rust on some of the finer pieces. "Aerodynamics are for people who cannot build engines"...... Enzo Ferrari unicorns are awesome!
