Posted October 7, 200915 yr It's for animation and 3D design but - 8 core, dual quad-core... October 7, 200915 yr Are you sure it's not just a Xeon version of the i7 965? It's really late and I'm doing code but the i7 range use 4x cores + hyperthreading on each core to make 8 "cores"... is this 8 physical cores or the same as the i7 range? I ask because thus far, especially with the C2D/Q the xeon versions were very similar (in some cases identical) with a simple name change. Otherwise it looks decent. I lol'd at this though: 364-bit computing on Intel® architecture requires a computer system with a processor, chipset, BIOS, operating system, device drivers and applications enabled for Intel® 64 architecture. Processors will not operate (including 32-bit operation) without an Intel® 64 architecture-enabled BIOS. Performance will vary depending on your hardware and software configurations. See http://www.intel.com/info/em64t for more information. That's quite the jump... from 64bit to 364bit http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/ee94/psyrus_uraya/awards-1.png QFT: Your computer is smart man.
