September 10, 200915 yr The reporter probably had to type into google "grenade launcher" to find out what it was and just found that picture. It wouldn't surprise me one bit [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
September 10, 200915 yr In all seriousness Ryz, you'd be right. That pic (based on the limited information) looks for all intents and purposes looks like it was taken in The Ghan. Last time I checked, the industrial district of Rosebury NSW was NOT in Afganistan. They could have at least TRIED to make it look like they weren't writing completely on second hand information [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
September 10, 200915 yr yeah the the background picture is not consistent with a industrial site in other words [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC][WC]Private http://bigdgaming.net/images/added/awards/valorousunit.bmphttp://bigdgaming.net/images/added/awards/armouredservice.bmp http://img230.imageshack.us/img230/2315/ubd4327.png http://img80.imageshack.us/img80/6780/blackmagikzwc.png "A tank is like a fat timid kid at a dance party , always too shay to get into the action and ask a girl to dance with him and always backs down after every approach" -Some Marine Capitan i forgot- Iwo Jima
September 10, 200915 yr Lol, reminds me of the coverage of the Iraq invasion. You could just sit in front of the TV and just laugh out loud at all the stuff ups they made most of which came from supposed "military experts". Military experts that can't tell the difference between an F117 and an F/A 18, call any tracked vehicles "tanks", refer to assault rifles as "machine guns", and call the AK the... get this... "Automatic Kalashkov machine gun". Media fail FTW.
September 10, 200915 yr There is such thing as a M16 machine gun however I think it is unlikely to be the weapon in question. nedlands1 [WC] Specialist (Combat Engineer) http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/5/52/US_Army_E-4_SPC.svg/50px-US_Army_E-4_SPC.svg.png [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
