The internets is down!!11!!1

No, really, tonight the internets had a big crash. Nothing was working. Firefox, IE, msn, bf2, etc. The only thing that would was teamspeak.

 

From that I managed to gather from others that their nets had also died. It also seemed that a bucketload of people got disconnected from PR as well, due to the internets imploding. Am I alone in this or did it also happen to you?

I'm fine. I'm in Sydney and with Internode.

 

I did witness it happen though, server lost about half it's numbers from 40 down to 20, then again from 20 to 12 a few seconds later.

A big chunk of Newcastle today lost power for around 40mins. That was fun running a shop in the dark.

its happening to me the internet has been reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaal slow i tried downloading 3d mark frm internode and it was going 50kps normaly i get 500+ from internode

oh wow lol. i thought it was my new router screwing up for the first time or sumthing. but yeah my internet was down for a bit so that mustve been it.

Yep I saw it happen but it didn't affect me. It was mighty weird though like everyone suddenly had something more important to do. :o

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww and here I thought it was me stuffing around with my modem!

I accidently pulled a plug out when I didnt meant to, and wam! I couldnt get it to reconnect. After fiddling around I could get onto local (au) websites but couldnt connect to overseas (hotmail, msn, etc).

 

I spent 3 freakin hours reseting and rebooting and reinstalling for nothing... :( :( :(

We were right in the middle of Jabal al Burj. Its a real shame too 'cause it was a good game. Our US team had pushed the battle to Factory & City.

I was part of a group attempting to set up a multiplayer game of CIV4, only me and one other were fine, the other four mysteriously dissappeared. *Sci-Fi Alien Music.* Hopefully no probing went on.
