hey guys,

 

just wondering how i rig up a Joystick to use for Choppers and so on, im thinkin it will conflict with ketyboard wouldnt it ?

 

any suggestions as to a sound peice of hdware ?

I have had a Logitech Extreme 3D Pro for about two years now, picked it up for $40. I use both my keyboard and joystick for flying, so they don't conflict at all.

Yeah, it's pretty easy to setup, just have to assign everything to a joystick button/key etc.

I have an Attack 3 and logitech 3d pro Both realllllly good joysticks

I wouldn't mind a Saitek x52

I've had an Attack 3 for about a month now, was a big learning curve going from mouse (hadn't used a joystick since Fury 3 came out, which was maybe 10-15 years ago). It's OK but I really wish I had gotten one which can twist from left to right (though there's hardly any suitable for left handers). I still can't land properly, and while it's awesome for jets I'm not nearly as good as I was in a helicopter with a mouse.

 

I get a feeling you can do well with a Gamepad ala the Playstation - maybe worth look into it. Dealextreme has some for cheap.
