Respect for Bammo

Last night when Hills of Hamgyong was being played, Bammo had created a squad called 'Newbs-Help'. I had joined that squad as a friend of mine was freshly new to the game and I thought it wise that he join such a Newb-Help kind of squad. Bammo was unbelievable with his tips and guidlines and gave up an hour of his time to do so. I know the three 'New Guys' that were in the squad appreciated it very much, especially my friend.

Hoorah for Bammo! That is needed more as I feel he helped the newbs respect the game. Good job! Great for the community!

Guerillarkilla, you had a 'tardish' moment flaming them in game for throwing smoke around. Bammo was teaching the three to throw smoke especially when attempting a Revive in open territory. The newbs didn't need to hear that. They, like everyone, were following SL directives.

Zenning hardcore.

 I tried this a few weeks back but my squad filled with regulars...and I hate kicking people for no reason other than I want to play with new players.

I saw Bammo's squad last night and they were kicking arse. Very good to see!

"We play Wagner - scares the hell outta them!"

A great idea I have thought about before. I think if we try, as a community to have a newb squad on each team every map the level and speed of improvement of new players would be significant.

Also have a crack squad of vets on the team too, and use them as examples for the newb squad to watch, in-game or via the Squad map screen, default CAPS LOCK. The movement between flags or even the set up for defence.

Awww shucks, thanks!

Last night was the first time in ages I was able to stay connected for more than 5 minutes (stupid iinet so instead of playing for points I thought I would do something different.

We had a couple of first time PR players in the squad but you wouldn't have known it from the attitude they all displayed. Excellent teamwork and openess to learning. It was actually lots of fun!
