May 29, 200915 yr Author This is my theory: Lets assume: * Huey is audible @ 900m * Huey is visible @ 500m Possible Cause (imo) * Huey is 501m => 899m away * Huey dies and because its out of your "view distance" your game doesnt realise its actually "dead" and continues to transmit its sound at place of "death" http://i.imgur.com/rfTYp.png
May 29, 200915 yr The short view distances in PR are the #1 thing holding the game back IMHO. In todays day and age 95% of the playerbase has relatively decent computers that would be able to run all the PR maps with a decent amount of frames even with much higher view distances. I don't see why (especially in light of this bug) they can't just say; Every PR map must have a view distance of at least 1000m. Bigger more open maps like Kashan and Kufrah should be even more.
