Posted May 24, 200915 yr Ever since i reformatted my PC my BF2 Voip has been all fuzzy and stupid (most of you would have noticed) but Team Speak and Mumble work fine so it can't be my sound card.. I've tried numerous times to fix it by playing with the BF2 sound settings and voip setup, enabling and disabling Microphone boost doesn't fix it either. Anyone have any idea whats going on and know how to fix it? because its getting really annoying when I'm trying to sing to Kush and he can't hear my sweet sweet voice http://i.imgur.com/zoL1k.png
May 24, 200915 yr had the same problem shady. From memory it seemed to come from some driver involved with Teamspeak. Cant remember which and as my computer is in the chop shop atm I am limited as to my abilities to try and find out what it was. http://i574.photobucket.com/albums/ss187/Chanvlan/new_kit.jpg yeah but this is the internet' date=' you have to expect the unexpected or else you'll get caught out by things you should've expected but didn't. Its exactly like knowing about the stuff you dont know about, that way you know theres stuff you dont know so when you know what you dont know you can say "ah i knew that!"[/quote']
May 24, 200915 yr I did notice you sounding a bit staticy (?), Slim. Is it any different if you run PR but no Mumble/TS, or still the same? I have sound conflicts with BF2 + TS (total static, though) which I can resolve by starting TS when I'm in-game, and not before. May 24, 200915 yr Author I don't think there's a difference, there's still been a few complaints with neither running.. And I normally start mumble and TS at random times, Sometimes before and sometimes while playing. http://i.imgur.com/zoL1k.png
May 24, 200915 yr Author Umm... Soundmax integrated Audio... I'm not to sure with Sound but i'm guessing thats onboard? http://i.imgur.com/zoL1k.png
May 24, 200915 yr Just had this issue because of a new mic, I had to reselect the default output device and just run TS before PR. Seems all good now, I think. Edit// Ignore that. Went alright for about 5 minutes but failed again. Edited May 24, 200915 yr by rohan11221 Evil Shenanigans!
